TWP: Train with Patrick was built on a simple but uncompromising belief: effective training should be intelligent, individualized, and sustainable over the long term. Not driven by trends, quick fixes, or intensity for intensity’s sake. TWP exists to help clients build strength, capacity, and confidence that actually carries over into real life.
This is not generic fitness.
It is intentional coaching.
The TWP Philosophy
At the core of TWP is a science & principles-based approach to training. Every program, whether one-on-one, virtual, or online, is designed with a clear purpose and progression.
Training at TWP emphasizes:
- Fundamental movement quality and mechanical efficiency
- Progressive strength development
- Aerobic and anaerobic conditioning that supports longevity
- Intelligent volume and recovery management
- Adaptability across life phases, stress levels, and schedules
The goal is not to chase exhaustion, but to build resilient, capable bodies that perform well now and continue performing years down the line.
Who TWP Is For
TWP works with individuals who value structure, clarity, and professionalism in their training. Clients range from busy professionals, parents, and executives to former athletes and committed recreational trainees.
You may be a good fit if you:
- Want results without guesswork
- Appreciate coaching, not just workouts
- Value long-term progress over short-term extremes
- Are willing to train with intent and consistency
Every client relationship begins with assessment, context, and a clear training plan—because no two people should train the same way.
About Patrick
Patrick is the founder and head coach of TWP: Train with Patrick. He began coaching in 2009, earning his CrossFit Level 1 certification and developing his craft during the formative years of functional training.
Early in his career, Patrick coached across both competitive and general populations, including guiding an athlete to the 2011 CrossFit Games. That experience informed a coaching style rooted in precision, composure, and long-term athlete development.
His experience doesn’t end with CrossFit; he also holds the CSCS from the National Strength & Conditioning Association as well as USA Weightlifting. He had the honor of serving as an Assistant Coach for both the SVSU Strength & Conditioning team and the NCAA DII Women’s Soccer program.
Patrick enjoys teaching all aspects of fitness but specializes in helping people overcome injury & setbacks to achieve their fitness goals. He holds the Certified CrossFit Trainer (CF-L3) designation and spends his free time serving as a Judge for various CrossFit-sanctioned events and the CrossFit Games. Coach Patrick is currently working toward earning his CF-L4 and aspires to be a member of the CrossFit Level 1 seminar staff to share his passion and experience with new CrossFitters and CrossFit coaches.

- Build habits that support progress outside the gym
This approach ensures results that extend far beyond a single session or training block.
